Here is one of those completely frustrating CDs to review. Frustrating because the music is decent (mathy indie rock), but the songs are incredibly self-indulgent in length (many between 6.5-9 minutes long) and the singing is terrible. So, where does that put the cd on a scale of 1-10... well, about an even five. How is it really possible to say much at all about a record that you feel completely neutral about? The design is pretty nice and the addition of moogs feel good. It might work live, but I would be afraid that the band would play for entirely too long. Um, oh yeah, what's up with the band spelling their name like that? They should have just gone all the way and called themselves "La Nationale Bleue".
